Partners, Funding Providers and Community engagement
Murru Minya has been funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC Ideas Grant).
Our partnerships and relationships with communities are our priority and are essential to this research being successful for our mob. Murru Minya has partnered with peak Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and we acknowledge the importance of connecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations with researchers and policymakers.
We would like to thank our partners, funders and the University of Newcastle for their continued support.
Community Partners
We most importantly want to thank our all of the communities who have already partnered with us and are helping us drive and guide these important conversations. Thank you for your ongoing guidance, wisdom and leadership for our mob.
This knowledge will then contribute to the development of practical recommendations that can further strengthen research processes, research workforce and ultimately health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people directly from the communities perspectives.
